Radio/NAV computer always on?

2004 4.8is:

Has anyone encountered the issue with the Radio Module constantly getting a 12V signal? And since it is getting a constant 12V signal, it makes sure that the NAV Computer stays on.

So when I would get in the X5 in the morning, and start it up, I wouldn't get a BMW Splash screen/Accept NAV screen. It would just display the NAV (as if just the display was off). Not sure what the problem is. I tried to do some problem solving. The only solution that I have found was unplugging the BM53 radio. I just unplugged the harness from the unit, and that made the NAV work as it should.

I had an aftermarket SUB and Amp, and everything was working fine until a week ago. I have completely remove those items once this issue started happening.

Any insight will be much appreciated.

Thank you!
