Laptop mount?

Odd request, but I'm on the road all the time. I've outfitted my GMC with a Jotto Desk, and it's been incredible.

Just wondering what's available for the BMW, if anyone has done anything/had success with a universal or custom mount?

I just got a RAM mount for my Z32 so I can do engine monitoring. Its a long goose neck that bolts to the seat rail. $70 on eBay new.

I had a Ram mount in my F250, though I rarely used it [years ago, running a gps map program on a netbook when on long cross country trips]. I'm conscious enough of distracted driving to avoid anything like this anymore [though police all seem to have similar setups in their prowlers ....]

Not a fan - on cross country trips I want to encourage my other half to interact with me physically and periodically as the driver - this would seem to get in the way of any potential satisfaction thereabouts
