USB stick only in E53 ?
Sorry for such a simple question but im a simple person ![]() Ive got a 2004 4.8 E53 that has the standard nav unit along with the cd changer in the back. Id like to keep both the unit and the cd changer and somehow add a port in the car where I can plug in a USB stick with my music on it (I dont have a ipod and my andriod phone is just used as a phone). Can this be done by using the OEM 3.5mm aux kit with a female 3.5mm to female usb adaptor or does audio not work like that ? ![]() Many thanks in advance

Paulpen, I'm of the same boat as you with no iPod (and never will) and use my android phone only as a phone. BUT I do not have a Nav system NOR CD changer so I was able to buy a GROM unit and thats how I run my MP3's (usb sticks). If you are ok with loosing the cd changer, its an easy swap to add the GROM in... as for what you're asking, I do not know anyone who has achieved that since there are only so many ways to connect in.
