Hey all, first time poster here. My name is Holden and I'm in Wilmington, NC. I'm pretty involved on ZHPmafia and have had an e36 and e46, so I know my way around these cars a little. I'm opening this thread to keep as a journal and use for any questions I might have in the process of maintenance/diagnosis.

Picked up my e53 this past week from a guy in town. 2002 X5 3.0 5MT 125k Alpine White/Schwartz. This will be my DD until I get another ZHP down the road and the wife will take over the X.

There will be more to come, but for now I just wanted to introduce myself and the new X.

I agree 100%. I got the worst of the e53 wheels. I don't want to spend too much money on wheels, but would like a good square setup of 19 or 20 and definitely a little wider than these skinny things. That's gonna be later I'm down the road though. I want to do the coolest system overhaul this spring, then investigate the vanos and DISA.

Got my windows tinted today. Definitely looks way better.
