side repeater electrical problem

Hi guys. Passenger side repeater doesn't work. I've tried swapping the bulb but the original bulb was fine. Tried swapping the unit from drivers side but makes no difference.

Just to add the "bulb out" warning doesn't appear and the indicators flash at the normal speed when in use.

When that happened on my volvo it turned out to be the wire to the housing was defect...it was easy to fix (known issue with this volvo model). I'm not sure if it's the same with the X but worth checking out.

Hi thanks. I traced it to a frayed wire going into the wing.removed the mud guard and repaired the wiring.
