Question Device: AUX input + bluetooth reciever + Radio Transmitter?

Hi guys, i was wondering is there any device in the market that have [Aux input + bluetooth reciever + Radio Transmitter with a rechargable batteries]? i think it will be cool to have it(we can connect any audio input or bluetooth device to it and play music) without opening our cars and miss with cables inside..

It's possible, we met with a company called scosche who I believe offer the only BT vehicle kit at this time. However the kit is $250 and you still need an AUX kit installed in your X5.

Doing it this way we have done two things in which you wanted to avoid:

The NAV screen needs to be pulled out to install the AUX port.
The BT kit is $50 more than the ice>Link Plus kit. Also, you need to still purchase an AUX kit from BMW for an additional $40.

I can only imagine battery life with BT enabled, in my opinion - it's not worth it at this point.

scosche bluetooth kit

Hi,

I'm a new member owning a 4.6is and I would like to share my opinion about hte Bluetooth Scosche ipod kit. It works great, same quality as a aux input cable and very convenient. It also pairs with a bluetooth phone and it interrupts your ipod, (when the stereo is in AUX mode), however the quality of the phone conversations is mediocre at best, high echo, failure to connect 100% of the time and so forth.
I'd only recommend the audio part though, very reliable.
