Dashboard charging system test

Been getting abs trifecta on and off for a while now , can anyone tell me if this battery test could be the reason please ?


Test 1. With key in ignition but not started 9.6v
Test 2. With engine started 13.6v
Test 3. Immediately after turning engine off 11.4v

Anyone tell me if this could cause the problem.

If the voltage drops that low right after the car is off the battery is at about 10% charge.

At 11.89 volts...the battery is at 0% state of charge. Enough perhaps to light the 2 amp interior bulbs or radio or horn etc...but as the battery's voltage drops even lower (like 9.6v)...it probably won't have enough capacity to start the vehicle...or if it does...weird electrical gremlins can occur.

Think of a boxer that has been hit with a serious blow to the side of their head or an uppercut to the chin and the synaptic connections in their brain are shorting out...their knees get wobbly, they lose their sense of direction and usually soon hit the mat.

When your vehicles battery has low voltage (or low amp reserves)...it gets kind of like that boxer that took a big blow to the head.
