Trailer Hitch worth $

I am selling my 2005 E53 (202,000 miles still going) and am wondering if it is worth the time to take the trailer hitch off and sell separately. At one point people were struggling to find the OEM hitch with the reinforcement parts and wiring. I bought it from the dealer and still have the installation manual.
Thoughts?

BTW replaced the E53 with a 2010 E70 with only 50k miles

It's almost always worth more if you part the desirable pieces. You'll get the same for your X5 with or without the hitch to your average buyer. Just a question of whether you want to do the work or not really.

Do it. Purchased used tow hitch for $500 last year. Crystalworks makes a great point too

How much do you want for it (if you are willing to ship it to Houston)?
