Substitutes for Fender Well Screws - Suggestions?

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can suggest me a replacement for part #: 07119902267
I'm not paying $2 for a screw, anyone used any home depot alternatives? Im worried about stripping the plastic that the screw attaches to. Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

It's just a sheet metal screw you can buy them "by the pound" at farm and fleet.

If they screw into plastic either do your best to match the thread by example or go up one size and get self-tapping screws.

Get STAINLESS Galvanized will rust over time.

I get these at my local auto parts store - about $5 for a box of four or five.

There must be a local equivalent over there.

BTW, $2 each is kinda cheap for an OEM part...

I usually hit up a yard and pull a bunch of them as BMW uses the same ones across just about every platform from 1980 up until 2010. Don't think I've ever been charged for them...
