Mirror Trim Ring...

So recently I had someone drive by and hit my mirror and I have found another housing for a reasonable amount but haven’t been able to find the trim ring.

Driver Side PN

Thoughts on OEM vs Aftermarket?
BMW is ~50$
Haven’t been able to find any after market just yet.

I think the only reasonable discount you will find is at a salvage yard.

Non OE I would be prepared to see a seam gap. I used aftermarket replacement grill when one of my grill inserts was AWOL one day. Love the inserts great value satin finish black but they are not a perfect seamless fit like if I had paid 6x the price. I'm ok with it.

That what I was thinking. I found a Salvage yard that had one for 75$ for a whole black mirror assembly that matches my VIN. It seems to have damaged the heating strip around the bottom too... scraped it off but left the glass intact.

Thank you!

I had a similar hit n run situation where my driver side mirror must have been hit but the outcome was a little better. Came to my car one day to see the skin completely missing from my mirror. That was pretty shocking but more shocking was to look down and see the undamaged parts of the mirror. They snapped right back on I was pretty stupified. And quite relieved.
