Cant Find 6 Pin CD Cable in Trunk
I just purchased a Grom IPD4 at a local junkyard. This is the model I got: https://gromaudio.com/store/ipd4_ada...h_capable.html Ive read that this model can be used on both non-nav and nav cars. After reading up on how to install it, it should apparently be able to connect to a 3 pin power and 6 pin CD cable in the driver side trunk space. I have found 2 3 pin power connectors but no 6 pin. My x5 is a 2001 (build date 6/20/2000) with no-nav, business radio, non-dsp, no CD changer. It is pre-wired for a CD changer, according to the vin decoder. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Pre 9/2000 models have a different 5-pin connector and the signals are different. Not sure if those typical CD changer emulating units can be used on these.
