PLZ HELP ME. ABS module, VVT or CANBUS problem.
Your post and information. Vehicle e53 2004 4.4 N62 Problem: Vehicle shut off, engine fail safe and transmission fail safe would come up during this situation, either one or the next or not sure if it’s both. Sometimes after many tries car will start back then shut back off, I unplugged abs module, car started and drove like normal after that. This abd module is my second one I bought, it’s a used unit, I changed it when I bought the car because I had similar issue. Known issues: I have the trifecta on currently I know it’s because of the transfer case actuator inpa said car was stuck in rear wheel drive and I heard the clicking come from the actuator. Unrelated I think but I also have a thermostat stuck open and codes for that. My questions: is it that my abs module is bad again? Is that the transfer case gear throwing the code is causing the issue and it’s not necessarily the abs module? Is it possibly a can bus error because during this situation I was getting a lot of problems to use inpa to read the codes, it kept saying couldn’t connect to dme then eventually it sent codes saying can bus not responding. Codes: 279b thermostat stuck 272a lr adaptation multiplicative area 1 272c lr adaptation additive per time mixture control 1 at idle bank 1 too rich 27cd dm-tl module 272d lr adaptation additive per time bank 2 mixture at idle bank 2 too rich 2774 engine off time Cd87 pt can bus off p3200 power train can can module defective 2785 dk- potentiometer 2786 throttle potentiometer 2909 can timeout transmission control 2908 can timeout dsc sh 27ee can instrument kombination signal 285c vvt can communication bank 2 as well 285a vvt acuator monitoring I did unplug the both vvt solenoids before the abs to see if it would work so not sure if I did the scan with it off or on. But this is where I’m at any help will be greatly appreciated. |
