Did he give them to you?

I brought a set of the bulbs and they failed to mention that I needed them.

Yes he did!!! Actually I bought 2 sets one for the rear (which doesn't need equalizers) and one for the front which is where I'm stuck!!! I just need to know which wires is it that I have to tap, on his instructions heshows 2 wires that go directly into a connector, but as you may know X5's have one plug and around 10 to 12 wires!!!

I bought the LED front turn signals, back up lights, side turn signal from jlevistreetwerks.com

You will need the equalizers for front turn signals and back up lights. They are awesome and are very easy to install .

I tapped the two wires going to the bulb holders. I found that there are actually bolts and nuts that can fit that small holes on the equalizers at Home Depots. I put the equalizers right next to the side fender, below the rail where the side of the hood fit right in when you close the hood (just trying to keep it out of harm ways and so far, no problem )

Actually, at first I was told that the back up lights did not need the equalizers, straight up plug and play. But after a week or so, I got the back up light warning and ended up installing the equalizers --> problems solved.

Thanks but I'm fed up now!!! I got an "05 that has like 10 different wires and I don't know which ones to tap!!! I guess I'll have to wait until JLevi gives me some info, thanks a lot though for trying to help me!!! By the way I've had my backup lights on for about 2 months or more, no equalizers and no warning lights so far!!!!

Exclamation Im still looking for some help!!!!

As the title says I'm still trying to figure out where these equalizers tap into!!! Does anybody know exactly which wires on the headlight connector belong to the signal/hazard lights!!! I found an article with wire colors and what they're for bu it seems to be different on my X or at least doen't seem to work for the equalizers!!! It shows there is only one wire for directional lights and the equalizer comes with instructions to tap two directional wires on each side !!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

This job definitely requires volt-meter. you need to find out which wire supplies the power to the parking light and the directional. Without the volt meter it's like playing russian roulette with your wires.
