Sport Package: Sport Seats

Can someone help point out the difference between standard seats and the sport seats?

Sport seats have more side support on the top and bottom cushions...result: they hold you better in turns. They also have adjustable thigh support, where front of the bottom cushion can extend with varying degree. Overall, the sport seats are a bit firmer as well.

I have the sport package but I dont have the front bottom cushion that extends out (like these seats: http://www.xoutpost.com/attachments/x...?d=1150292465). Was this a separate option? I have a 2001.

I guess I have it? I have to go search around my seats now to see if I can find a lever for it.

I'm not sure it has anything to do with the year of your vehicle (but it could - I don't know), but perhaps your X has the comfort seats option. Are there a gazillion adjustments for your seats? Is there a switch to move the headrest by electric motor? If so, then you have the comfort seats - a $1200 option over the sport seats...

Not sure about the '01 model.... My 2002 and my 2005 models both have the thigh adjustment. Do you have pics of the seat?
