What is the hub bore size on oem X5 wheels?

What is the hub bore size on oem X5 wheels? I want to get new wheels and dont want to use a hub ring. So i am looking for a wheels that has the same size hub bore as the actual hub.

There is a lot of misinformation out there regarding this question (even on this site). The hub diameter on the X5 is 72.56 mm (sometimes rounded up in various postings as 72.6 mm), NOT 74.1 as has been reported many, many times by various websites.

If anyone questions this number then I recommend they pull off their wheel and measure it with a caliper before posting a contrarian response.
