beamers set on automatic

When I set the headlights to automatic, they always stay on irrespective of the ambiant light, is there something im doing wrong?

The light sensor is probably bad or needs to have it's sensitivity adjusted. Need to make a dealer visit?

Thanks but is there any way to avoid the stealer and adjust the sensitivity myself?
