My tailgate opens only with key remote or dashboard button, but not with the auto release in the tailgate handle!!! Does anyone have any guesses or ideas as to what might be the cause???? TIA!!!

Seems like a faulty switch... Known to fail at some point, go visit the service dept. at your dealer to have it replaced under warranty.

Ok, I have a stupid question for you. Are all 4 of your doors unlocked when you try to open with the soft button on the hatch? If not, it won't open.

The answer is yes all doors are open, but the hatch release doesn't work on the tailgate, only the remote and the interior release in the center console'dash work!!!!!
