Self-Levelling Suspension

I have this option but the dashboard command buttons that go with it (described in the booklet) are missing! Am I confusing something?

With my limited knowledge, I believe that self-levelling suspension means the computer will level the vehicle for you (i.e. can't change ride height manually). To do it manually, you need the option for adjustable ride height.

You only have self levelling in the rear axle.
Full blown front & rear air suspension comes with the buttons for adjusting height.

Too bad after traveling pass 35mph the ride height goes back to the "normal" setting.

Why do the rear wheels on the X5 "lean" inward? It would seem to me that this would promote unever tire wear. Could use a lesson in X5 Suspension 101!

That is not technically true, i can control mine fully. Intrax makes a module that over rides that so it will not change ride height.

This is negative camber, it enhanced handling. A very charecteristic setting on most BMW's...
