My window wont go up

Driver window wont go up. I believe it must be the famous window regulator problem. I´ll give a look to DIY section and my tech is going to make the job. I just want to be sure it´s the windows regulator before taking the car to my tech.
Window it tiotally down and when i press the button it just moves 1 cm and stops, so I believe it must be WR, what do you think?
What´s the art number for the WR? I´ll buy some clips for door panels just in case.
I´ve heard about that plastic zip ties would fix the window withouth the nees of buying a WR. What "plastic zip ties" is? Sorry, English is not my mother linguage. Thanks in advance.

It does sound like window regulator problem. I had the same issue. Use "search" and you will find tons of information on this topic.

I thought I had a regulator problem but after putting the new one in it didn't change anything. My window will still go up and down, but it is real slow. It will sometimes stop going up, but will continue if I hit the button again. I ordered a new window motor - hopefully that will fix the issue. I also looked into the zip tie thing, but I could not see any broken parts on the regulator, nor did I understand where the zip ties would go.

Yep, sounds like the motor.

Unfortunately it sounds like a bad motor because when all 5 times my window regulators went out, the window would not move, not even a cm. Yes, 5 regulators.

Well, looks like I've got a brand new regulator that will be sitting around waiting for the old one to go out, bc we know it will

Hummmm...maybe it´s better my tech give a look to see what´s wrong and only then I´ll order the window regulator or motor. By the way , dealer quoted me 98 euros plus 21% taxes.
