Beeps while driving.
My 04 X5 4.4 is making some beeping when I was driving on the free way. it happens couple times last few days. When i was driving on the free way. suddently, I can hear 3 beeps. then I look on the OBC or Navigation, there is nothing indicated anything. No messages. This happen couple times already. Anyone know what the beeps mean? Thanks.

Sounds like you have the memo feature set. It beeps on the hour. Go into the menu and set Memo to Off
Hope that helps

You might have the "Limit" feature set. That's when there is a speed set in the OBC and it will beep whenever you've exceeded it. I don't believe there is any message that will appear in the display. It's a silliy feature I have never used.
If it were the cold winter season I'd suggest that it is the black ice warning chime that sounds when road temps drop to a certain temperature. Consult your owner's manual.
