Final Stage Resistor Module

Has anyone attempted to replace this on your own? I'm reasonably handy and found step by step instructions, complete with pictures on this site. Doesn't look terribly hard, but I hate to start taking apart the glove box, etc. if it is in fact more difficult than pictured.

Well - I tackled the job tonight. Author was correct. Took about an hour. The new module was exactly as pictured. Glad it was smaller as getting the old one out was not easy. Finding a couple of the screws on the glove box probably added 10 minutes to the job. All in all, glad I did it myself. Part was $90 at the dealer. Could have purchased online for $70 plus shipping, but didn't want to wait for it. Dealer wanted $250 for parts & labor, so saved $160 and got to spend some alone time with the X in the garage tonight. Not a bad deal indeed.

Major props to the member who posted the step by step details, complete with pictures -- couldn't have done it without you.
