Just installed HOEN Xenon Match Fog lights (PICS)

I just got my HOEN xenon match foglights and installed them. They look great and I like them alot. But When i first got them I thought maybe they were to blue when Iwas looking at them in my driveway. But then I maid my BRO drive behind me and then towards me and on the street to people in other cars they match perfectly with the xenon headlights. I think its becasue the headlights look alot more blue from far away. Up close they look very white.

But one thing I did notice is that now with the Xenon match fogs and Xenon headlights my oem angel eyes look like shit. Im might have to upgrade them to now.

Ive attatched photos of my 2004 X5 with oem fogs and my 2004 x5 with Hoens side by side at night.
When you are looking at the photos look at the light hitting the pavement. The light on the ground in front of the 2006 with hoens looks more blue and better than my 2004 with oem fogs.

also on of the pics is what the bulbs actually look like in the box.\\

The second pic is of hoen on pass side and oem on driver side

No I didnt bother because it was so easy. Just check your owners manual. I think it was on page 161 under lighting replacement. It tells you exaxtly how to do it. I was done in 5 minutes.

Simple as it may seem the front cover trim needs to be pushed forward and removed before the lamp housing can be unscrewed. How's that done?

I literally just pulled it out. Its kinda tough to get out but I just kept pulling and it poped out. Then it poped right back in. I nolticed that on that cover right in the center of the top of the foglight is kind of a dimple. I used that to get my fingures under the cover and to pull it off. Believe me its easy. Just be care not to scratch it with tools. Just use your hands

Now your cooking. Some of us dummys around here need the extra steps. I also found these instructions. Thanks. OBTW which lamps did you use?

The plastic cover around the fog light just pulls out. At the top inside edge next to the lens there's a cutout you can fit a finger into. Start pulling from there carefully but firmly, and then as an edge starts to pop out, use your other hand to help it. It's pretty easy - shouldn't take more than 10-15 seconds to pop it off.
