Opinions on body molding painting

I'm gonna be getting my body molding painted in a week or so. I drive an 01 titanium silver X5 without a body kit or side steps (just so you can paint a mental picture). I wanted to get the body molding painted since day 1 i had it but i don't know what i want. I've seen x5s with the body molding painted to match the car color but what i was thinking was painting the body molding a gunmetal (darker silver) color. This came to me when i saw those range rovers with the gunmetal vents on the sides, i liked the color combo. I plan on getting a body kit sometime in the future too if that changes anything. I'd like to hear other peoples opinions on this and i've yet to see an x5 with different color molding. Any thoughts about it would be great. Thanks!

That is the "one that got away". It was a 2003 X5 4.4 w/ 45k miles and all of the paint work done professionally at a high end shop. I was emailing the seller asking about a few things when someone hit the "Buy It Now" and got it for $29,000. I ended up buying my 2002 4.6 a week later......

I had mine all done at a professional body shop. They're workin on a fiberglass subwoofer enclosure to hold my new 4 12" subs as well, and that's gonna be painted the same color as the car too.
