I have the parts but I have not installed the system yet
DSP with Nav
TV on Nav unit
Sirius with tuner upgrade
Bluetooth added
(front) Oz Audio Matrix 3-way components
(rear) Oz Audio Matrix 2-way components
10" Blaupunkt Velocity sub (Custom enclosure in factory location
2 - Blaupunkt Velocity VA2200 2x200 amps for components
1 - Blaupunkt Velocity 1000W monoblock (having brought in from Germany not available in the states yet)
I need to figure out an Ipod interface still
Planning on using two Audio Control LC6 units for line uotput conversion...does anyone know if there is a T-harness to go between the DSP amp and the speaker outputs? that way I dont have to cut and splice on the factory wiring

for those of you with larger systems how do you keep the fuel door from vibrating?

I'm currently building a sub similar to the JL Audio Stealth box......(I'm handy with fiberglass, and my 1st job was in car audio years ago)

Most of the custom systems I've built, I just yanked out the factory stuff and designed my own system. However with the X5 I will have to keep the stock radio and cd player in the dash and I may as well add a factory cd changer. What I would like to do is either replace the factory amp with a 5 channel amp and add my sub, and later on replace the stock speakers..... does anyone have any recommendations for this?

If you want to keep it simple, but gain a big sound quality boost - check out Bavarian Soundwerks at www.bavsound.com

They have speaker upgrade packages and provide do-it-yoursef instructions for installing. The Stage 1 upgrade plus the subwoofer made a huge difference in my X5. You can get by with just the 10 speaker upgrade if you don't care to add a lot of bass.

Three 12 inch kicker solobaric subs (having my new fiberglass box done to fit 4 new ones), 2200 watt kicker class D competition amp (getting the new Hifonics Goliath amp to power the 4 12" subs). Changed all car speakers to JBL components, and added 4 new components and tweeters custom installed into door panels. All powered by stinger zero gauge wires.

Why not pass up the Goliath and go for the new XXV-Sampson
