Service Interval

I tried following the instructions listed on

http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/x5/e...ts-bmw-x5.html

when I do it my screen shows ESSE 0.0. Does anyone have any ideas how to reset the interval light.

I have an 05 and I am trying to save myself a trip to the dealer.
