Tension strut-Ball joint

I just pulled the strut completely off and want to pull the ball joint. I am replacing both. But the ball joint is giving me all kinds of hell. Its stuck in the spindle. How canj i get it out without destroying everything??

did you remove the 2 "reverse" torx screws that holds the ball joint in? you should be able to tap it out from above.

use a screw driver or something slim. a few taps should do it.
