What type of steering is on the 4.4i?
What kind of steering does the 4.4i model have? I remember driving a 4.6is and I coulda sworn it's the too-light recirculating ball type steering rack. Does the 4.4i use this and/or did it change with the '04 facelift? |

i'd guess rack and pinion too...i think bmw stopped with the recirculating ball on the e39?
and it's probably because the 4.6is has the servotronic steering assist thingy

the E53 has rack & pinion - IMHO it's the only sport steering setup to have
