2001 X5 3.0 Sport Package

Those black moldings next to the windows...

sport package is supposed to have them all glossy right?
Well the ones between the windows is not glossy while the rest are glossy.

How is this possible?

Have you any pics? Might be a silly guestion but have they faded badly? I noticed on some X5's with the high gloss that the centre pillars faded and look all streked as the owner just never looked after them.

all my research shows that all sport packages come with the annodized aluminum window sill

early and late model 2001 sports come with it, so it's not different packaging

are you sure it's the matte kind?

Thats normal the ones between the windows are never glossy but the trim around the window is.
