HAPPY UPDATE! Doh! Left sunroof open!

And it rained. Hard. For an hour.

Now my Nav/Radio is unresponsive (stuck on one station, muddy sounds, cant get past the "Dont look at your nav while you're driving screen) and the headlights are screwy.

I suspect that I will be visiting the dealer tomorrow, but anyone have any advice before I go?

Left the X home while on vacation - baking in my garage....nice 100 degree week, and came home to find some functionality returning. Spent a week driving it and watching the Nav go nuts, and the radio cutting in and out, but everyday a little but better....it seemed like the system stored all f my fiddling around and had to work itself through...

Today - everything working perfectly! (for now?) Glad I didn't panic and run to the dealership and drop $2K on a whole new system....

Thanks to all on the boards for words of advice and encouragement!

Let it dry for a while before you fire it up again.

Don't turn anything on, including the car....

Dry off as much surface water as possible, get a hair dryer and *try* to dry the rest... let it sit over night and pray.

It might be toast already because you turned it on... ouch.

Yeah, its not looking pretty. I had no idea the dash was soaked until I turned on the car ( and then it was too late).

What is the usual diagnosis on wet dashboards? Repair or replace?

Thanks for all of your advice.

Update

Followed the advice to let it dry out, and this morning the radio works (although only using the steering wheel controls)....but its progress!

Perhaps a day sitting in the hot sun will continue to help!

Thanks again for assisting!

YIKES! That was a group of storms that passed through, too!

I hope everything works after it dries up!
