Front clunking noise felt going over bumps
1. The vehicle tracks straight upon steady speed, acceleration, and deceleration. 2. Upon high speed deceleration, sometimes the steering wheel vibrates, but sometime it's smooth (no vibration). 3. Front brakes calipers have been replaced - new 4. Front rotors are true, otherwise, vibration upon deceleration would be consistent. Could this be worn suspension bushings? Control arm bushings? What usually wears in the front end of X5's at high miles (80k+ miles) that could cause these symptoms? Any help/advice/recommendation would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Near the windshield, just forwad of the hood hinge, is a small adjusting screw that fine tunes the hood position. I had a mystery "clonk" that was caused by this screw being a fraction out of adjustment.
