You need to go to Fairfax. My X has been serviced there 4 times, windows regulator, battery, windshield wipers, something else i dont remember. My 530i was there twice last week nothing wrong but i just need to use my factory warranty thats all (25K miles on the clock right now). I took it in for new key (cause i just wanted to) my SA gave me the next day. 3 days later i came back to, say, replace the A pillars because i feel that it is a little peeling at the dash end, just a little. Again, my SA raplaced both sides even i just wanted him to do 1 side, in 1 hour, I also told him to throroughly check my 530i even it has just been serviced, but he also did that too. He lubricated the door seal too. the invoice came out $0.00 i drove home happy.

I have heard mixed reviews on Arlington, the most common complaint being poor communication and slow service. In all honesty, I don't think there is a "good" dealer in the Washington DC area. I brought the X3 up to Russell BMW in Baltimore just for good service once. |

Do a search for Arlington and you will see my responses to why I am never going there again.

BMW of Arlington ?
I've taken cars several times to BMW of Arlington and have found them to be quite responsive. In the last year or so, they've opened an additional service facility near Pentagon City, initially on Fern Street, now on Eads Street. That in itself may help the slowness noted in the older posts.
Had a cranky service advisor the last time, maybe just a bad morning. That's the worst I can say. |

I did not have the same positive experience at BMW of Arlington. I took my car there in 2005 to be evaluated for a buy-decision on a soon to be expiring lease. They did their 4 million point check and basically told me my car was junk, needed $7000 worth of repair, and - by the way - they'd be HAPPY to sell me a new one off their lot. Two years later, all of those "high-priority" repairs have never failed. I had a much better experience at BMW of Fairfax. Just my 2 cents...
