Fate or Something (Update)
For those of you who read my earlier post about the unfortunate mishap of backing my X into a neighbor's trashcan, I've fixed the rear hatch license plate assembly. The part + paint was about $175USD. The install took about ten minutes and was no problem Thanks for the info regarding the replacement. The "fate" part involves what happened while waiting at the dealership light to go pick up the hatch assembly piece. It's hot in the Southeastern US and I'd opened the windows to vent. I hear a "crashing sound" behind me, so when I look to see what happened, I notice my passenger side rear window is wide open. The window must have fallen into the door. So, the dealership has the X and is replacing the arm. If I didn't know better, I'd swear those little elves are breaking my ride At least it's still covered by the warranty, but two window assemblies in three weeks, is that a record on this forum or what!! Come on. Thanks for reading. J

Same thing here two weeks ago. Sounded like a rock hit my door. Not good because it is hot as hell in Louisiana, and it happened on a Sunday.
