Retrofit Heated Seats

Hi
Can anyone help, I've just collect my new X5 3D SE and because the vehicle was already built, I didn't get to spec front heated seats.
I've been told that the elements and wiring is already there, any ideas please!!

If the electronics are already there it should be quite easy to do. It makes sense in a pervers way that they are already there as it would be much cheaper than having some seats on the production line with elements and some without.

I went through this last year, asking about pre wired heated seats, front and rear, guess what, the wire's are there for the connections ,but the elements are not. I got a set of aftermarket seat heaters off the internet and had a seat shop do the element install and I did the wiring. works great!

Hi, do you mind sharing both of the sources?

I do not think the elements would be there, but it makes sense if the wiring was.

There's no way the elements are going to be there.
