Installing OEM running boards on my E70

I am thinking of buying running boards for my E70. Has anyone installed themselves? Is it pretty simple? I can buy them for about 400, would like to install them myself.

Yep I did mine took about 2 hours dead easy the only thing is that you need to remove the wheel arch trims and that means getting new plastic rivets which dont come with the new boards
