New Upgrades- 4.6is brakes & titanium mirror trim

Just finished swapping my calipers and rotors with some used 4.8is calipers and rotors. Also installed the titanium mirror trim. It's a pretty easy install.

YOU are the one I've been looking for - for a long time. The guy with the titanium silver X5 with the M6 wheels. Are those the 20" you haveo n there? Can you post some more pics? I'm deciding if I'm giong to get M6 replica's or the 214s...
Where Did you get the brakes? Easy install? or they will only work with 4.6 rotors etc?

I bought the brake kit used from Ebay from a dude for $600 shipped. You will have to get 4.6 rotors if you pick up 4.6 calipers. The rotors are slightly bigger and thicker. By the way dual piston calipers up front!

Rasta, they are 20" with a staggered set up!

Here's those closer pics of my rims:

Do you notice a difference in the braking with the bigger high performance brakes??

I would say it is pretty significant improvement and it was a lot cheaper than going the brembo route.

I dont believe the front calipers were dual pistons for only certain years. Great mods.... great looking ride too.
