Headlight adjustment for driving abroad

Hi All new member 1st post.
I have an x5 reg Sept 2005 with xenon headlights.

They have an adjustment for driving abroad with a lever inside each headlight,I tried it the other day as a test before i go one lever is fine fine the other one is not attached properly.
Do they just clip back on or are new parts required ?
The dealer isn't sure wether it's covered by warranty or not and want's to dismantle it to check it and then decide if it's covered.
If not of course i will be charged for the work.

Anyone else have experience of this fault ?

Yes they do just clip back on.
