Why is Sirius not an option on the X3 Build your Own?

Trying to get to the cost of the option. Dealer wants to charge me $795 on an 07 CPO they have. On my X5 it was $595 with 12mos "free" subscription.

We have 07 X3 as well and if I recall correctly we paid something like $595 which included the 1yr service.

Would you be interested in purchasing the Sirius unit I have in our X3? Its a lease vehicle and is going back in a few months. I just transferred the Sirius subscription to the wife's car since I don't use it anyway.

Let me know if you have any interest in it...

I wouldn't pay anything for satellite radio. They will all be bankrupt soon, and existing subscriptions won't be worth anything.

One of the top 10 tech trends for 2009: the end of satellite radio, which only survived as long as new car sales were climbing.

The dealer ended up charging the same $595 as for a new car at the end of the day. Final negotiating point that got the deal done.

I would be interested in purchasing the unit from you. When would the unit be available? I can only use it if you don't have nav, since I don't in my 08.

I transferred the service the morning so I just need to take the unit out which I can do tomorrow. I don't have NAV so you should be fine.

PM me and we can work out the details..
