Harmon Kardon drive + Play FM Transmitter

Hi All,

I am thinking about purchasing this unit for my x5 to use with my ipod. Anyone ever install it, or heard anything about it, good or bad?

Thanks

Cool

Never liked FM transmitters myself, however the Harmon Kardon Drive + Play does have a 3.5mm audio out (ok if you have an aux input on your X). IMO a better option would be Intravee II or Dice.

Yes I agree but right now due to cost this is the way I have to go. I've read several reviews and most all say this is a good unit for cost.

Ok sure the HK is only about $90. I bought the Griffin Roadtrip recently for one of our company cars and it works ok.

Just ok by itself, but I have an Pioneer Inno XM radio with a wired FM transmitter that coincidently helps the Griffin Roadtrip.

I had this in my van and it worked pretty well. Would get some static hiss sometimes. I paid about $20 for mine from a discount store. The only thing was that it did not come with the hard wire kit (it is a separate part). The cheapest that I could find the wire for was $20.(!). You can find both on Amazon for under $30 now. ( PS can someone tell me how to add pics. It says that my file is too large, Thanks, not trying to hijack)
