Beisan systems VANOS o-ring replacement

I just put these in...too early to pass judgment but the car seems a bit lively (more torque)

It was actually pretty easy to do but a lot of bolts to undo about 7 hours all-in

Will do. I have a 2001 x5 3.0i with 85k miles. I noticed a power drop over the last 10k miles so I thought I would put some $ into repairs and upkeep.

Beisan claims a 200mile break-in for the new rings so I will report back in 2 weeks or so. Give me a poke if I forget

Very thorough write-up below.

Beisan Systems - Procedures - Double Vanos Procedure

It's key to have the tools cuz the angles and space are limiting in the engine bay. That said, I am not a handy-man kind of guy, so the technical difficulty of the repair is low.
