NEVER GO TO ICS IN STAMFORD CT

Never ever ever ever go to imported cars of stamford in stamford, ct. not with an x5, not with anything.
they are a rip off, their work is shit, and they dont even know how to bleed the brake lines in an e53.
I had brakes and bushings done there. it was a 2 day brake job that cost 1,000 for LABOR ONLY.
after that, i had to beg my SA at bmw to bleed the brakes because they gave me a car back with a pedal that hardly stopped the car.
I am now having to pay bmw of greenwich, ct to fix all his screw ups. It will cost me 2,600 dollars on top of that 1000 to have it rectified.
NEVER go there.

Darkside -

I've only heard nothing but positive things from ICS.
Did you bring the car back to them to re-fix - followup ?

Good evening Darkside, my apologies in that you are not happy nor satisfied with our services.

The $1000.00 Charge was for the following.

(1) Front Brake, Rotors and Stainless Steel lines
(2) Rear Brake and Rotors
(3)Control arm and thrust arm bushing, in which needed to RnR the arms and press fit the bushings
(4) Bleed - Flush the brake fluid system
(5) 4 Wheel alignment

All the parts supplied by you. If you recall the brakes were bled properly, we bled them over and over, we even bled the ABS pump. We were having issues with the system becoming air bound. You and I also took the vehicle for a test drive and agreed on driving the car for a few days to see if in fact the brake pedal did correct itself. I gave you my personal cell phone in case you were having any issues. I even put in a call to see how the car was on your way to your Thanksgiving Dinner and you yourself said it was feeling better.

I don't know what to say to all of this, you were supposed to drive the vehicle for a few days and then bring the car back in for a check up - as far as the $2600.00 Charge BMW is charging you to bleed the brakes is ludicrous.

I am just a phone call away, I will be more than Happy to re-bleed the brakes for you as which was our original plan.

Nice for you to chime in, George. I've been to your shop with Tino with our M5's a few years back for a Dyno session and was truly impressed with the work you do at your shop as seen during the tour you gave us.

I hope this gets resolved to everyone's satisfaction.
