You mean how the new amp module allows you to spread the BassLink's mediocrity of sound to all your speakers?

For $400, you can get a much more attractive prebuilt box from Eclipse and a good bass amp.

I think I missed the measurements..How big is the Basslink? Can it be "tucked away"?

Nope!! As I said "It may not be YOUR cup of tea but if someone needs a sub this may fit THEIR needs.

I looked at the Basslink solution before going for a separate amp and sub solution for my X5. I would not recommend this as a decent sub solution.

I agree with Ken. I tried it, did not like it and ended up to go with a seperate amp and subwoofer solution. If you want clear and clean bass sound, this is not the way to go.

I have not heard the basslink 2. But i saw write up in the latest Roundel mag. "A kick in the Bass"page 82. The article did mention that the new amp module allows you to spread the BassLink's of sound to all your speakers but with so many posts asking about sub's i thought someone would be interested in this as an option for a sub. You know the old saying different strokes for different folks.
