SES Issues =( Need to pass Smog
I've had this SES light that's been on for the past 4 months, I've tried to repair it but several shops have failed miserably, all they could tell me is that there's 11 error codes that pop up. I need to correct this problem soon because my smog check is due by the end of the month and due to the SES I cannot pass it. Now I've tried having the shop reset the SES but it always relits within 30 miles. I've no idea what to do now, take it to the stealer? Yikes can't even imagine how much they'll charge me for hourly labor alone!!!

Not passing smog and getting hit with a ticket or even better, expired registration, since you didn't pass smog will pale in comparison to a dealer rate.

11 codes? Damn!
What codes do you have? Also, what you already paid the several independent shops to attempt to fix this unsuccessfully is likely more than the dealer would have charged for proper diagnosis the first time...
