Did you use the same cap? Is the bleeder screw tightened? If you used the same cap I think there is an o ring in there. If not maybe the seal where the top hose meets the expansion tank.

Should the bleed screw be completly tight? Mine is not.

BRASS...if you over tighten it then you crack the expansion tank instead.

Had to improvise but I got the job done. The LocTight is only on the nut and not on the threads that are in the tank. I also used the oring from the broken one.
