Suddenly AC Blower is InOp

This morning my AC was blowing fine, never an issue. This afternoon as I got in the car to go home the AC was dead.

-Lights on the switch engages
-I can hear the compressor clutch engage and RPM adjust when I switch it on
-Checked the three fuzes 2x 7.5amp and on 50amp (blower), all good

It's strange. Is there a "reset" switch somewhere?

It's a '03 4.4i

Thanks,
Jeff

Probably final stage resistor. Ever been replaced?

Not that I know of. I"ve owned the car for a year. Was my Dad's before then.

Easy to get at and replace?

Update! It was a very cool night. Temps are in the 60's. Got in the car to go to work and the AC was blowing just fine. Would that confirm the resistor issue?

Thank you
Jeff

Very possible. These things over heat and short out. Yeah, easy repair. Do a quick search, theres a DIY somewhere around (I would post the link, but I'm on my iPhone right now)

Good luck!

Yup.

I'm headed to Autobahn this weekend for the NASA GTS3 race but can lend a hand after that

Well, the FSR finally went. Ordered the part from Pelican, came in two days and the links above were spot on.

Thanks to everyone for your help.
