285/35/22 all around?

Is anyone here with an E70 (4.8 would be even better), running 285/35/22's all around? If so, what's you rim width (9.5, 10, ?)? I'm trying to get something in the next week or two, but with my current Sport Pkg staggered setup, I'm a little lost on the +2. Add to the fact that I haven't seen any modded X in my area and I'm even more lost.

I've done a little searching, but keep running into E53 posts. Nothing against you guys, but I was just looking for some first hand feedback. Detail King, Discount Tire and Tire Rack reps are welcome to chime in...I just need some help. Thanks in advance fellas.

Does anyone know if a 22" wheel with 285/35/22 tires will fit on my 2002 X5?

for the rear, yes. For the front, it will be out of your fender

Thank you technik! Does that mean it will look bad sticking out of the fender or will it rub/scrape the fender if I try to drive on it? If it's not the latter, would you not suggest putting the wheels on the car?

Actually it will be both ugly and rubbing. If you ever go to Mexico, it's very popular up there to have the wheel to stick out of the fender, but me no liky.

I would suggest that you put 285 in the rear, if the wheel width allow pertaining they are 9.5" or more and maybe 255 or 265 in front.

This guy did 285s, for what it's worth: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-related-...-18-tires.html

[EDIT] My bad, it's an E53, sorry. Don't know if there'd be a difference.
