Right Rear Brake Light help

I had the brake light sensor come on the dashboard yesterday. I'm thinking to myself, easy fix, just replace the light bulb. Wrong.

I replaced the bulb. Nothing
I switched plugs between RR and LR - Plug works in LR but not RR.

What could it be?

The contact boards on the rear of the taillights are prone to rusting... You could solder them...

Thanks. I don't have a sodering iron so I will probably just order a new assembly. I found some at a decent price on amazon of all places.
