Exclamation P0456 Evap system very small leak detected

So, I went through the usual motions of changing the oil + filter in my 2002 3.0i (manual) before I made the trip to this years State Wars (inline hockey) tournament in Cincinnati Ohio (1120 miles round trip) this past week. When I left to pick up some of my team mates on the trip out, I was alerted by the SES light illuminating. After scanning, the only code which came up was P0456. The print out I got from the scan read the following:

Definition:

P0456 - Evap system very small leak detected.

Explanation:

Loose, defective or missing fuel cap.

...I am positive that it isn't my fuel cap (doi).

Probable Cause:

1. Faulty vent solenoid
2. Faulty purge control solenoid
3. Faulty fuel tank pressure sensor

Luckily, I made the trip there and back without any problems. Although, the morning after I arrived home the code sneered its ugly face once again.

I am having trouble finding much information from any of threads concerning this problem code. I understand that the Evap system problem deals with the fuel tank ventilation system, but I cant seem to isolate my problem with such limited resources.

Can anyone point me to the right information (URL, thread, link, etc.)?

Could it be a loose/blown fuse somewhere? faulty O2 sensor? fuel filter? Purge valve? ANY ADVICE?

I hope Weasel catches wind of this thread and helps! he's steadily on point.
