new stainless exhausts E53 avaible

Hello
I was ready to modify my OE exhausts like shown on this forum. I bought OE used exhaust with a view to do the modification but finaly I decided to send them to Quicksilver exhausts in UK. Im official dealer of this make and they developped an exhaust for my X5 3.0 D and they will develop the 4.6.
So I let you discover the pics and if you need some more informations I could organize a grouped order (paid not to me but to quicksilver) and we could have them for 1000 eu/pair.
Bye
nico

Nice looking exhaust. Any plans for the E53 4.4 liter folks in the US? What is the gain on the system? Is this a direct bolt on system or weld on?

Hello
The 4.4 and 4.6 sport exhausts are being developped actualy and will be finished before end of year.
The system is a bolt-on fit taking approximately 90 minutes to install.

The engine note takes on a deeper tone with a bit more volume under hard acceleration.
Extra benefits area a substantial weight-saving (reduced by about 6 kilos) and, of course, QuickSilver’s usual 25 year Guarantee.

Nice. Is the system a full cat back or just the rear section? I would definitely be interested in a set and do a write up about it. Thanks in advance.

The original exhaust is installed, on the assembly line, in one piece. So, the pipes must be cut to fit our system - this is easy.
You dont need to weld.
I will tell you asap when the 4.4 is ready !
I will offer you a better price for a feed back on this forum.
bye

Those muflers look so tiny, they are more like samples than the real deal! Not too sure about the hangers design either!
Maybe fine on a 3.0D where the turbo silences the whole exhaust system ,but will be far too noisy on the petrol versions.
The other thing is that for 1000 euros ,your are verging on Remus,Milltek and Supersprint territory, which in some cases are way cheaper and have "proper" sized mufflers!
Good luck with the sales anyway
