Removing BMW factory fitted Ipod

Has anyone removed the BMW Ipod module & installed a DICE module?
I have done it but I dont have any volume from the DICE - everything else on the DICE seems to be working ok so maybe I got a wire mixed up when removing the original unit.
Any tips appreciated.........
