HELP WITH FUEL TANK DIMENSIONS

Hi all,
Does anyone know the dimensions of the X5 E53 3.0i plastic fuel tank ?

I believe it weighs roughly 25lbs empty,
I need to know the Length X Width X Height?

My fuel tank has a hole on the top of it, where the overflow hose connects to!
It will not pass a MOT in this condition and BMW in Glasgow are quoting well over £1000 to supply and fit, for a 9 year old X5 that price is outrageous

I will get a tank from a salvage yard (scrappy) for around the £50 mark.
